Oh, come ON, now! Do you really think that I like to work in soup kitchens, I do a lot of fund raising, I run a rescue shelter for animals, I eat only healthy and organic food and all that? Nah.

So, okay. The reading a book part is legit. And I do exercise regularly and eat healthy food.

I’ve been in the business of running a business for a long time -about 40 years now. All in the communications area -ad agencies, video production companies, creative services. I’ve been managing editor of a slew of magazines and newspapers, a radio deejay, professional musician, professional voice talent, screenwriter, the list goes on and on.

I’ve written close to 20 books and videos on business marketing, management, and advertising; I’ve written around 500 newspaper and magazine articles and I’m  regular columnist for EventDV magazine, president of Opin Marketing and founder of the Video Business Advisor, a unique online resource for videographers worldwide. I know this stuff pretty well.

I’ve been a musician as far back as I can remember -started lessons when I was five -and over the years, have enjoyed the company of many fellow players -many of them absolutely extraordinary.

I believe in enjoying every ounce of life available to me -which is why I love New Orleans, old Benzes, good wine, pretty dark-
haired wimmen, sailing, smart & unruly friends, great food, islands, music that makes the little hairs on my arms stand up, and little port towns on the Great Lakes or the seven seas.)

But enough about me. Let’s talk about you.

I want you to be successful at whatever it is you choose to do, aside from bilking taxpayers, robbing banks or appearing on some crappy reality TV show. Which is why I launched Doc’s Marketing Mojo. With all the Bad Voodoo out there, I thought we could use a little good Mojo to set ourselves right.

You don’t have to forward anything to 2000 of your friends to be successful, nor will the Mojo leave you if you don’t spend $500 or more on this site.

That’s not the point.

We want to show you how to be a remarkable marketer of yourself and your business. We’ll keep it short and we’ll keep it simple. And yes, we’ll have a good time in the process.
