Blues great James Armstrong

I’ll be in Henderson, KY this coming Saturday, appearing with bluesman James Armstrong at the W. C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival. This is a week-long musical event that features blues and Zydeco bands from across the country -not to mention the mounds of barbecue, red beans & rice and other great treats. (And here my dieting was going so well…)

We’re onstage this Saturday at 5:30 pm.  Love to see you there. Free admission, too.

A real treat for me to be playing keyboards with James this summer -a multiple Handy Award nominee, he brings his own unique voice to the blues. Get a little taste of Mister Armstrong right here.

If you didn’t know who Benjamin Zander is before today, don’t feel alone. But I guarantee you will never forget him after you watch this video — if you’ll just make time in your busy life to do so. (After work would be best.)  You’ll be glad you did.

Benjamin Zander conducts the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra. He’s known for his charisma and unyielding energy, as you’ll see in this little Friday Treat.

You needn’t be a fan of classical music to get the full effect of this.  The passion that Zander shows is infectious, and the same type of Mojo has powerful applications in all areas of life.
