If, like me, you get a little tongue-tied when they turn the cameras on, a teleprompter is pretty much a necessity. Although I use and endorse (and even sell) the very intuitive Tele-Prompt software that turns your laptop or any other ‘puter into a handy teleprompter, I’m gonna watch this new product pretty closely!
Professional teleprompter manufacturer Bodelin is coming out with free teleprompt software for the iPhone/iPod touch, and they tell us it’s going to be available on April 20th, during the big NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) show, when a lot of these types of things are intro’d to the broadcast community.
I think it’s a natural for all of us -video bloggers, speakers, corporate video makers and spokespersons -for use with the iPhone or iTouch. The software will be downloadable through the App Store; you’ll be able to upload your scripts as a .txt file to the ProPrompter Producer website, download and play them back. The ProPrompter Wing shown here attaches to the tripod mount of your camera and holds your mobile device right next to the lens.
Could be really sweet. Can’t wait to try it out.

Thanks for the link. Very cool.
