Who knew tricycles could be so cool?

At left, Susan and Roger Hunsberger.
I recently reconnected with good friends Roger and Susan Hunsberger, uncommonly cool designers who run their own marketing communications firm, Hunsberger-Stap.
Here’s an example of just how cool these people can be:
Fifteen years ago, they purchased three kids tricycles for an agency promotion.
Not knowing what to do with the trikes after the shoot, they donated them to Family & Children’s Services of Grand Rapids, who gave them to disadvantaged kids as Christmas gifts.
“We thought that small gesture was a great one,” Susan told me, “so the next year we decided to build and donate more trikes.”

A lot of good karma generated right here...
Fast forward 15 years and get out the calculator; as of last Christmas, Roger, Susan and their staff have built and donated over 3,000 tricycles to various charitable organizations, from Grand Rapids to Chicago.
You can’t get much cooler than that.
This is definitely Good Mojo on the part of Roger and Susan and their company. It’s a great way to share their blessings with others less fortunate, and…
…it’s offbeat enough to get some good buzz going and help set their business apart from their competition.
So -what good Mojo have you used lately to set your business apart? Write and let us know.
